RealPost is an engineered structural Column made from finger jointed, appearance grade SPF Lumber.  Using RealPost, Builders will eliminate the need for solid posts or the need to wrap out from structural lumber.  The hollow core reduces the amount of lumber used and also the need for excessive caulking.
